Portugal – 2018

There are so many great Portuguese focused bars in Toronto, it’s hard to pick just one. As for some teams, I like to just wander the most likely intersections and find a bar that looks the most intriguing. Plus, I love a bar that has their fourth wall all the way up and people are spilling onto the street. That’s a good bar, and this is Portugal World Cup Toronto.

Tough day to be a GOAT. Portugal and Argentina eliminated on the first day of the knockout round, along with Ronaldo and Messi. While most of my photos here are celebratory shortly after Portugal’s only goal of the day, it was a big deal, as it was the first goal conceded by Uruguay all tournament and it tied the game for Portugal. They are some great full bar going bonanza shots. I love those!
