Germany – 2014

I missed the first goal and was so disappointed. It’s so fun to be with a huge crowd of fans when their team scores, and this group of German fans were ready for a cheering. So when I arrived and it was already 1-0, I was worried I might not get another goal. That was silly. In the first half alone, I got two more!

This is the way to do these game watches. This gathering was put together in cooperation with the German Consulate General, the German Canadian Congress, the German Meetup in Toronto and the Canadian German Chamber. That’s a lot of cooperation and it turned out to be an incredible gathering with tonnes of jerseys, swag and flags.
